you knew this was coming

okay, yes. i got my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows with my collector' edition box at 8.41 am saturday morning. it was a moment beyond euphoria when i saw the man at my doorstep with my crisp paperback book by J.K Rowling. I thought to myself, This is it. The moment you've been waiting for, for about 2 years.

Half blood Prince, left me hanging in despair, anguish and absolute contempt for the man Severus Snape. The more i wanted to know why Dumbledore placed a charm on Harry, disabling him from saving Dumbledore, the more i wanted to know what Regulus black had to with the locket, why Dumbledre had pleaded with Severus very ordinarily. We all knew somethin was brewing in J. K's mind, we just didnt know what.

Deathly Hallows is simply a arguement on mind over matter. Hallows, or Horcruxes. The sane man, fighting for the greater good would obviously go for the easy way, "hallows", while voldemort, being the evil guy that he is, decided that invincibility comes with the construction of horcruxes. once he realises that they could be destroyed, he pursues the elder wand. you might be wondering what this might be about so i suggest you read the book.

i bet JQ might b gloating already by now, fact is most spoilers that we came across were true. some false. ps, no harry wasnt ressurected, his "death" was simply more beautiful than that.

well perhaps readers might be slightly perplexed at the fact tat voldy died because of a rebounded curse. I think what J. K rowling was driving at was the excess power that Voldy was contemplating to have, only brought his end.

Dobby, another one of my favourite characters, had a significant, short role in this book. he'd remain a part of my heart. Dobby was there for harry, like a Veela's being a Krum fan. Dobby,i'd never forget the socks.

Everyone had a part to play, J.K just knew how to tie the loose ends together to make one perfect extraordinary spectacular book.

Snape, now he... was brilliant. he, surprisingly brought the waterworks. "look..at ..me" that did it. really guys, just for that, you should read the book. the chapter of a Prince's tale, simply brilliant. if you want to know want love was about.

and dumbledore, his history. i was afraid grindelwald will be left unmentioned, since he was of the past. but guess what,J.K loves me so she expanded on Grindelwald.

well yes, the whole book revealed a darker world, a world where happiness seemed unlikely. Yes, he came, and he took charge. Muggle-borns were not as free as before. Dumbledore's fall brought Voldemort to power. I shuddered at some parts, it seemed like all hope was lost (especially when ron and harry had a spat)

AND WHO KNEW THAT ALL RON HAD TO DO WAS TO SUPPORT SPEW!!!!

"do you think you could hold it in?" haha, harry.

I adore this book, it was raw emotion throughout, the pace was fast, no dull moment, and J.K doesnt spare a thought for the reader, she just kills our favourite characters of one by one.

well, duh, the ending wasnt satisfying cause all of us dont want it to end! i personally feel well the whole 19 years later thing was cheesy but hey, its a children's book.

the closing chapter at 2003pm.(reread a few chapters)

i can safely say, ten years down the road, i'd still be the same harry potter fan that i am today.
